Tanya Farah

Born in Iran to Jewish Iraqi parents, Tanya Farah experienced the conflict in the Middle East at an early age from a unique perspective. Her experience inspired the "Language of Peace" collection. Each 24k gold circular pendant features a sentiment like faith, peace, love, kindness, or respect written in English, Arabic, and Hebrew. "My purpose is to show the world we are all humans, wanting similar things in life. If we could open up the lines of communication, things may improve," Farah says. "My pendants are meant to remind us to talk about issues and not to give up hope." A percentage of sales from the "Language of Peace" collection goes to fund Seeds of Hope, an organization that encourages communication between Israeli and Palestinian youth.
