Glimpsed at Work: Kerry Grossmiller
(Karl Merton Ferron, The Baltimore Sun / September 1, 2010)
Her co-workers at the Baltimore Museum of Art call her the resident fashionista, but Kerry Grossmiller modestly describes her style as "preppy with a flair." We "glimpsed" the special events manager living up to both reputations as she popped down to Gertrude's at the BMA for a quick lunch. The 30-year-old Rodgers Forge resident was picture perfect in a black and white gingham cotton jacket with three-quarter length sleeves from Anthropologie, which she wore over a white Anthropologie tank top and black microfiber Ann Taylor pencil skirt. Her black leather Cole Haan peep toe pumps from Neiman Marcus featured a white stitched detail. Her Mikimoto pearl necklace and Di Modolo white gold and pearl drop earrings came from Radcliffe Jewelers. "Jewelry sets off any outfit," she says. Grossmiller says she follows trends a bit, but tries to stay more classic. "But, I am loving ruffles right now."
