Is your fiancé involved enough in your wedding planning?
I'm pretty sure that for most men, the only time they think about weddings is when they need to get dressed for one. Most don't grow up dreaming about what their "big day" will be like. And I'm convinced that they don't even realize all the planning and decisions that need to be made following the whole popping the big question thing. For some guys, the thought of registering for china patterns and planning the wedding is probably enough to make them hyperventilate!
For some brides-to-be, having your future husband involved in all aspects of the process is important, and some guys are more than happy to be involved. But for some it might be a huge nail biter. Perhaps he is afraid that he doesn't know what he's doing and he doesn't want to do ANYTHING to avoid messing up something so special. Fret not. Let him be as involved as he is comfortable with and assign jobs that he can handle. If he doesn't have an opinion about flower arrangements then he might have an opinion about the tuxedos and groomsmen gifts. He might not be interested in looking at china patterns but he might want to add a whisky decanter and some etched rocks glasses onto the registry.
Keep the communication open, and enjoy this process together. Love is good...and above all don't sweat the small stuff!!!
