Angelica and Brian are bound by their shared love of Baltimore, boating and the beach ... and now most importantly, one another.
Where did you meet?
Brian's step-father is Bill Bateman and I was a former NFL cheerleader for the Baltimore Ravens. I was at an appearance at Bill Bateman's Restaurant in North Plaza and I met this amazing man, who happened to be Bill Bateman's step-son.
Please describe the proposal.
Brian took me out on his step-father's beautiful fishing boat and surprised me with an amazing proposal on the lower deck with two glasses of champagne and when I turned around he was on one knee asking me to be his wife.
What was the first thing you did after you got engaged?
Brian took the boat to a pier to pick up my best friend Tammy and my matron of honor Monica. They took pictures and then we all went back to his parents’ house where my family was there waiting to celebrate. The weekend was full of celebrations as Brian also surprised me with an early 30th birthday party the day after we got engaged! The whole weekend was amazing.
Have you picked a date? Venue? Theme?
We are thinking Summer 2019. But for now, we are going to enjoy this time being engaged.
What is something you and your fiancé like to do together?
We both LOVE the summer time … going to the beach and boating
Will you be taking a honeymoon? If so, where and why did you pick that destination?
Yes we definitely will! Hopefully escaping to an island to enjoy our first week together as husband and wife.
What is a fun fact about you as a couple?
Brian and I first met 5 years ago at my cheerleading appearance, coincidentally at his step father’s restaurant. We then reunited, began dating a year ago and got engaged on Bill Bateman's Boat. Brian’s family is amazing and I'm so happy to become a part of it!
