Annieglass’s trademark look and unique shape originates in a uniquely developed glass bending technique. A sheet of flat glass is melted over a ceramic mold and fired at such a high temperature (1350F) that precious metals become permanently fused to the glass. The result differs from traditional hand blowing not only in its special translucent textured finish but also in its remarkable durability: the glass becomes tarnish and chip resistant – and dishwasher safe.
