IWC Schaffhausen Portofino Automatic
Since 1984, the watches in IWC’s Portofino family have brought the ease of the Mediterranean lifestyle to the wrist, combined with a touch of luxury and timeless elegance. Since the launch of the first collection, simple three-hand watches have been a cornerstone of the line. The Portofino Automatic, as it is known today, was introduced in 2003. Thanks to a perfect symbiosis of simplicity and elegance, it has become one of the most popular timepieces from Schaffhausen. Now, for the first time, this model is available with a stainless steel case and a deep blue dial in an unlimited version. The dial colour contrasts beautifully with the gold-plated hands and appliqués. This watch is fitted with a hand-painted black alligator leather strap.

In doing so, he not only laid the foundation for IWC’s unique engineering approach but also established the centralized production of mechanical watches in Switzerland.
Over its 150 year history, IWC Schaffhausen has developed a reputation for creating functional complications, especially chronographs and calendars, which are ingenious, robust, and easy for customers to use. A pioneer in the use of titanium and ceramics, IWC today specializes in highly engineered technical watch cases manufactured from advanced materials, such as titaniumaluminide and Ceratanium®. Preferring the principle of “form follows function” over decoration, the Swiss watch manufacturer’s timeless creations embody their owners’ dreams and ambitions as they journey through life.
IWC sources materials responsibly and takes action to minimize its impact on the environment, creating intrinsically sustainable timepieces that are built to last for generations. The company prides itself in training its own future watchmakers and engineers, as well as offering an excellent working environment ...
