For sale is rare pre-owned near mint condition 29mm by 48mm platinum Bvlgari Rettangolo “Reserve de Marche”. The RT49PLD is fresh from factory service, with a two year warranty on the work performed. While at factory service the Bvlgari received: a full service of the movement, replacement of all gaskets, water resistance testing, a polishing of the case, and an ultrasonic cleaning. The Reserve de Marche is accompanied by its original boxes, manuals, an international factory service guarantee card, and factory service paperwork detailing the work performed. The Bvlgari features a polished platinum case, which is accented by a fixed smooth bezel. The Reserve de Marche is mounted on an OEM black alligator strap, which is secured by an adjustable OEM polished platinum butterfly deployant clasp. The Bvlgari features a salmon dial with: applied polished white gold index and Arabic numeral hour markers, polished white gold hands, a sub seconds register and date window aperture at 6 o'clock, and a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock. The salmon dial presents beautifully in person, while the silver guilloche sub dial registers gorgeously accent the salmon dial. The movement used in the RT49PLD is the Bvlgari Calibre 115, which features approximately 8 days of power reserve, and is proudly displayed through a transparent exhibition case back. The Bvlgari Calibre 115 is a unique movement however, as it was actually made by the legendary watch marker Michael Parmanigi on commission for Bvlgari. Michael Parmigiani would later go on to found the brand Parmigiani Fleurier, and it is extremely rare to see one of his early works as a watchmaker appear for sale. The RT49PLD is a truly unique offering from Bvlgari, as it was commissioned by a high level Bulgari client in the early 2000s, and was only produced in a 99 unit limited production run. Furthermore, Bvlgari commissioned Michael Parmigiani to create the movement and dial for the watch, and when new the RT49PLD had a retail price of approximately $50,000 USD. Overall the Bulgari is in near mint condition, with the only sign of previous wear being some faint surface level hairline scratches on the side of the case, and is under factory service warranty until April 2024.
