For sale is a pre-owned near mint condition 38mm stainless steel IWC Spitfire Mark XV. The IW325305 will come with the original box and papers. This Battle of Britain Spitfire is a limited edition that was originally sold in 2001. The IWC comes with a large outer box, scarf, Spitfire booklet, undated limited-edition serialized certificate, and inner faux leather box. The faux leather used for these boxes is known to degrade and it should be noted that it is falling apart. This Spitfire is part of a 1000-piece limited edition that was produced between 2001 and 2003. The IWC has a black dial with crisp white Arabic hour markers, making for a very clean and well-balanced piece. The Spitfire has a brushed steel case and very distinctive heart shape on the hour hand. The case is brushed and has no signs of wear. The case is mounted on an OEM brown leather strap with accent stitching and OEM steel tang buckle. The strap does display some typical wear commensurate with age.
