For sale is a pre-owned near mint condition 40mm stainless steel Rolex GMT-Master. The N serial 16700 includes Rolex inner and outer box only, will not come with any papers. The previously polished case is free of any noticeable scratches and retains even lugs with sharp chamfers and solid crown guards. The watch features a black “Swiss T<25” dial with applied tritium luminescent indices, date aperture at 3 o’clock and a black bidirectional GMT bezel. The dial glows under UV light, but immediately fades when the light is removed, as do the hands. The GMT hands appear a shade or two whiter than the patina on the dial but acts as the dial does when exposed to light. It is impossible to say whether the hands are original to the watch but seem close in age if not original. The GMT Master is mounted on a stainless steel Oyster bracelet with light stretch (85% or better) and will accommodate a 7.4-inch wrist comfortably. The bracelet does bear a couple light signs of wear including a scratch or two on the clasp and a small ding on the center link of the bracelet a on the 12 o’clock side. The 78360 Oyster bracelet is clasp stamped U11, dating it to 1998, and therefore not original to the watch. The 16700 is powered by a Rolex caliber 3175 automatic movement, making it the last GMT-Master with a 24-hour hand that could not be adjusted separately.
