My name is Chad Creamer. I had by far the greatest experience purchasing two spectacular timepieces on Sunday 2/26/23. I contacted Hilda earlier in the week about a Cartier Ballon Bleu and a Tudor Black Bay red bezel. A week prior, I was in the store when Hilda introduced herself ... and introduced me to the Cartier line. A brand in which I never noticed it’s fine detail and timeless vintage class until I was able to place one on my wrist. I felt like a million bucks! She had both timepieces ready for me..Both the Cartier and the Tudor were presented professionally and sized appropriately. All the warranty, paperwork, cards, tags etc were discussed with me. She assisted me with signing up for the Cartier care plan and warranty. Hilda was by far the most knowledgeable and professional individual I have ever purchased a timepiece from…. Like myself, she knows the details, what sizes, and which colors are available. It’s clear we have a very similar taste which made my purchases that much more exciting. She spent approximately 3 hours in the store with me, both assisting me with my purchases and allowing me to try on timepieces I hope to have the privilege of purchasing in the future. A neighbor, Pat looked to sell an early 1960's Rolex GMT Master. The GMT belonged to her husband, who has passed. It needed some work; has nice yellow patina on the dial indices; and the lume on the hands still worked. Pat wanted work done on the watch but did ... not want to send it to Rolex because she wants to keep the original patina as is. I just wanted to take a moment to say how happy I was engagement ring shopping at the Pikesville store and how pleasant my experience was working with Liz Creameans! My fiancé and I had looked previously at several other major jewelers around Baltimore/ DC and in our previous shopping ... experiences, we always left feeling overwhelmed, frustrated and slightly more confused. We went to Pikesville one afternoon on a whim and after checking in with a very upbeat lady in the lobby, Liz came out and welcomed us. We have both been very Covid conscious and we appreciated the safety precautions that were taken and it was really nice to feel like we were given such a private one on one experience while shopping and looking around the store. We told Liz we were just looking, not buying anything today, we mentioned a few of our ideas but that ultimately we were pretty confused about the whole ring shopping process so far. My fiancé didn't really have any idea what shape diamond or style band would look good on her and the only thing she knew was she wanted to look at some vintage estate pieces. Liz spent almost two hours with us and we never felt rushed during our entire first meeting. I also never felt rushed every time I went back on my own or when we spoke on the phone. Liz let my fiancé try on several different styles, shapes and sizes since everything she thought she might like, she ended up not loving. Liz made several suggestions to help steer us in a direction until we found what looked best on her and if we didn't understand a term or a suggestion, she never made us feel like we were a bother or stupid. Quite the opposite actually. She was encouraging us to try on more until we were totally certain and comfortable. There were a few pieces she knew we wouldn't like but let us try them on just to be sure and she even let us try on some pieces way out of our budget just for fun. We ultimately decided on an emerald cut and liked several vintage pieces Liz showed us. Liz suggested we have one custom made based on the three rings we loved the most since we would 1) have more options for fitting and changes down the road 2) we could customize exactly what we liked from each of the three rings in one 3) this would also be more within our price range. I had already made my mind up before leaving that I wanted to work with Liz but I wanted to keep some of this a surprise so I said we'd be in touch, thanked her for her time and on the way out I stopped and looked at a few watches. Liz then came back over to help show me a few Tudor watches and once again, we never felt like we were wasting her time or were being a pest just window shopping. I emailed her the next week to schedule another in person meeting and Liz was always quick to respond to my emails. When I went back to discuss the next steps, Liz had taken very good notes about the rings we liked previously as a reference, my fiancé's ring size, the materials she liked along with some other important details for us. I told Liz the budget I wanted to stay within and she never once tried to upsell or suggest anything out of my budget. I asked her a lot of questions like, "what would you do here" "what would most women like" etc. I felt extremely nervous about making such a major decision and I had a lot of "what if she doesn't like this" thoughts. I imagine I wasn't the easiest customer to listen to and deal with and once again I just want to say I never once felt rushed making any decision. I felt like Liz always answered me honestly and I never felt like she was pushing any sort of sales agenda on me. Once I made all the decisions to have the ring made in house, I told her the date I needed it by for our vacation, Liz sent me a few digital mock ups and once when I had questions about the final product, I emailed her to ask if we could discuss a few concerns on the phone. She one again responded very quickly and spent about 20-25 minutes on the phone with me. The turnaround time was shorter than expected and she even offered to let me store the ring at the store in a safe for free since I wasn't sure where to hide it in our home. As for the final product, I could not have been happier with the outcome, my fiancé absolutely loved the ring and we both love feeling like it was designed just for her! I will be recommending Radcliffe and Liz specifically to anyone who mentions any jewelry in the future and we will be coming back to Pikesville for our wedding bands. I recently had a wonderful experience working with Hind Walker on two necklaces for my wife. First, Hind worked with me to convert an old, inherited necklace into a more contemporary design. While not necessarily a complex conversion, Hind made the process simple and seamless, transitioning the necklace into a ... beautiful, modern and age-appropriate piece. Most importantly, her expertise allowed me to focus on the second, more important piece. My wife and I recently had triplets and I was looking to build a necklace with gold disc pendants, each with the first initial of one baby. Hind really took time to listen to what I had in mind and gave expert suggestions where appropriate. She first searched for manufactured pendants but nothing worked for what I wanted. Being in the market for various timepieces, my wife and I visited “ALL” the Authorized Dealers (Rolex, Cartier, IWC, JLC, etc.) in our area (NOVA). Our experiences were both mixed and confused, and we were left a bit disappointed. Whether it was quality of service, selection, knowledge, or honesty, something ... was just not right. Something was missing. It almost felt like “they” were doing us a favor for the privilege of shopping at their store. “Do you have previous purchase history with us?” was a question that kept coming up when inquiring about the availability of a Rolex. We decided to drive over an hour to Radcliffe and browse their selection (Pikesville). There we met Todd Brown who patiently assisted us as we browsed their huge selection trying on several upon several watches. I cannot say enough of the level of service we experienced from Todd. He was extremely knowledgeable (found out he’s also a gemologist) and was very upfront and honest when explaining availability and pricing. Although we did not make a purchase at time, he followed up our visit with a friendly and sincere email letting us know to reach out to him if we had any questions. One thing he said that stood out was that he wished to build a relationship with us rather than just make a sale. That is what was “missing” from the other stores we visited.
